Claynosaurz Showcases the Power of Community-Driven IP at MIPJunior!

Our founder Nicholas Cabana was invited to speak at the MIPJunior Conference at Cannes!

Cabana appeared on the panel “Storytelling Beyond Borders: Creating IPs That Travel,” where he outlined how the next era of IP development is driven by communities, leveraging social media, live events, multi-platform strategies, superfans, and more immersive, participatory experiences.

With the rapid evolution of AI, the creative possibilities and resources available to anyone are virtually limitless, putting powerful tools directly at the fingertips of creators of all ages. Combined with user-generated content (UGC), this opens the door for fans to actively participate in shaping an IP, crafting their own stories, and engaging with the brand in ways that were previously impossible. Rather than being passive consumers, audiences can now become collaborators, contributing to a richer, more dynamic universe while expanding the reach and impact of the original IP.

“When a 10-year-old kid in his basement can record a video, upload it to YouTube, and outperform Netflix's Friday premiere, it's a sign that we need to do things differently” Nicholas said. “We need to create communities, superfans who drive and are brand ambassadors.”

Sharing the stage with these IP giants underscores a promising future for Claynosaurz. We are at the forefront of defining what it means to create a truly fandom-driven franchise.
